I Hope This Raises Lots for Yorkhill

What started off as a daft idea has now been done.
My excellent timeing as usual just in time for blizzard conditions outside.

Tomorrow is the BIG day.

Thank you for visiting and taking an interest in my fundraising for Yorkhill Childrens Hospital.

The time from when I decided to do something drastic to raise funds for this very worthy cause right up untill now, has just flown by.
The big day is tomorrow and I'm excited, scared and many other mixed emotions going through my head but, in my own way I know that I will be giving something back to a charity that is very dear to my heart. (read all of the posts here to see why.)

My Husband George and I have been blessed with three beautiful boys.
Jack, Ciaran and Aidan.

My second youngest owes his life to Yorkhill
and I will be forever in their debt.

My Boys

As I have said before I have 3 gorgeous boys.

Jack who is 6. He is very much a boys boy, Into anything boyish, fighting, football and wrestling. He loves playing with his Power Rangers and fighting with his little brother.

Ciaran is 3. He at the moment loves anything pink, power rangers, ribbons as long as it pink Ciaran will play with it. After Ciaran had his 2 operations at a young age I have wrapped him in cotton wool which I will have to stop doing as he is very fiesty and can give as good as he gets.

Aidan is 15 weeks and just a little gorgeous creature, he sleeps alot and when he isn't sleeping he just giggles and coos at people.

For each and every person who donates any amount of money, no matter how small, it all adds up.

My hair

My hair has always been my pride and joy, when I told my friends and family I was shaving it all off they looked at me as though I was slightly mad. I am the person thats at the hairdresser every 8 weeks having my highlights fixed and my ends trimmed.

But when I thought about it, hair always grows back, well nearly always but some kids are just so poorly they cannot make it without help from the lovely doctors and nurses in Yorkhill, so if I can raise £1500 it will help pay for something in the hospital and all I have to do is shave all my hair off and have a cold head for a month or 2.

The When

Well on the 26th January 2008 I shall be getting all my hair shaved off. I haven't got a place to do it yet but I shall update when that's all sorted out.

UPDATE

It will be happening at the Rainbow Room International at 1.30 on 26th January 2008.
If you want to see a grown woman cry over her hair please come but do not laugh to loudly.

I am hoping to raise at least £1500 for Yorkhill Children's fund.
